Publishing student writing encourages the reluctant writer
Posted by Studentreasures on June 10th, 2010Every student has a story to tell, the problem sometimes is giving them an avenue to tell it. Publishing students’ writing encourages the reluctant writer, strenghens their self-confidence, rewards interest and promotes a positive attitude towards literature.
For 15 years Studentreasures has been publishing k-6 students’ writing and illustrations into beautiful, full-color hardbound books for Free! In fact, over 300,000 teachers from 10,000 schools all over the United States have used our Free programs to publish over 6 million students. What we are most proud of is that from our Free programs we have given away 4 Million Free Books! That’s 4 million students that may not have been able to receive a copy of their book for whatever reason. But because our programs provide a free book for the class and for the individual (when participating in our Free School-wide publishing program) students have an opportunity to receive a free copy. No other company can provide this.
Participating in a Studentreasures writing project is an exciting learning experience. Give your students the opportunity to create real books they write and illustrate themselves.
